FOR ALL REGISTERED & NON-REGISTERED PATIENTS – EMERGENCY ADVICE

Developments are changing on a daily basis with COVID-19 and we want to keep you updated.

In accordance with both government and the chief dental officers guidance for all dental clinics and acting in the name of public safety, whilst closed we are maintaining a basic service during lockdown, that is providing emergency telephone advice, triaging and writing medical prescriptions where appropriate.
All routine treatment remains postponed.

You must not attend the clinic unless specifically advised to by one of our dental surgeons.

The purpose of being advised to take such action is for the strict safety of all concerned. Patients should therefore get in touch with us in the first instance if you feel you need urgent dental care, rather than telephoning NHS 111 or attending A&E.

Dedicated treatment centres will have the appropriate PPE allocated for emergency cases and are in the process of being set up where urgent dental care can take place safely, during the pandemic. In the first instance, all patients are therefore required to make contact with us and where you will be triaged as per the guidance given to us.

So please do feel reassured we are still here for you in an emergency. Our phone lines will be open for emergency calls only during clinic hours, for both registered and non-registered patients.

We aim to respond to all calls as soon as soon as possible. We are dealing with a fair number of emergency patients from all over Sussex, so whilst we aim to answer your call ASAP please do be patient should we not be available. We will be dealing with other emergency patients.
